At NAB 2022, SmallHD has announced its new OLED 27″ 4K Reference Monitor. According to SmallHD the OLED 27 is a true 10-bit, lightweight, durable 4K UHD monitor with incredible black detail and unmatched contrast.
SmallHD claims that the OLED 27 4K Reference Monitor is a perfect fit on set or in a premium color suite.
The OLED 27 features a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio and 500nits of brightness. SmallHD claims that this new monitor can display up to 12.3 stops of dynamic range. It covers 110% of DCI-P3 and 135% Rec. 709 color gamuts.

SmallHD’s OLED 27 features a unibody chassis crafted from aircraft-grade aluminum and weighs in at 13.16lbs / 5.97kg. It features multiple versatile mounting points, offering customizable power and accessory configurations.
The monitor features 4x 12G-SDI inputs/outputs, 1x HDMI 2.0 in/out, 1x 4-pin XLR power input, an SD card slot, and 2x 2-pin locking power outputs to power external devices, such as Teradek Bolt 4K products.
The included PageOS 4 toolset features Color Pipe HDR color-rendering, Waveform, Vectorscope, Monitor Calibration Wizard, etc. The PageOS 4 UX/UI offers quick and repeatable setups and full control over all parameters and display tools. OLED 27 is fully compatible with the entire zero-delay Teradek Bolt 4K ecosystem.
Pricing & Availability
The SmallHD OLED 27″ 4K Reference Monitor retails for $11,999 USD. Strangely on B&H it is listed as $13,499.10 USD. I would imagine that price will get changed shortly.
