ZEISS has unveiled the Supreme Prime 15mm T1.8. The 15mm rounds out the Supreme Prime lens set, which consists of 14 lenses with focal ranges from 15 to 200mm.
The new 15mm will offer an extremely wide-angle view with a fast aperture of T1.8. The 15mm has a minimum close-focusing ability of 35cm / 14″ which is the same as the 18mm and 21mm. The lens weighs 2.24 kg / 4.94 lbs.

The ZEISS Supreme Primes were designed to provide consistent coverage, color rendering, aperture, size, weight and ergonomics. All the lenses across the family cover sensors from Super 35 and smaller to full frame and beyond (FF+). The Supreme Prime lenses are color matched across the full range and most feature a fast T-stop of T1.5.
Most of the lenses feature a 95mm front diameter, however, the 15mm, 18mm, 135mm, 150mm, and 200mm all have a larger 114mm front. All the lenses have standardized positioning of the focus and iris rings that allow for fast and easy equipment changeout.
