The design is similar to the popular TS3. However, the insides are all new with Thunderbolt 4, added microSD slot, and USB4 98W charging, to name a few.

Monitor Support
For a single monitor, use the TS4 can either connect to the DisplayPort or to one of the Thunderbolt 4 ports. If you wish to connect an HDMI monitor, you can either connect an Active DisplayPort to the HDMI Adapter or use a USB-C to HDMI Adapter.
For dual monitor use:
- macOS users on M1 Pro, M1 Max, or Intel-based Macs can connect up to dual displays.
- M1-based Macs do not support dual monitors through their Thunderbolt ports.
- Windows PC Thunderbolt 3 and Thunderbolt 4 users can connect up to dual displays.
