MEIKE has announced its new 75mm T2.1 S35 Cine Lens. This is the third lens to be released in MEIKE’s S35 Cine Lens series and it will join the 35mm T2.1 and 50mm T2.1.
Eventually, the complete set will include:
- 18mm T2.1
- 25mm T2.1
- 35mm T2.1
- 50mm T2.1
- 75mm T2.1
- 100mm T2.1
The optical construction of the lens compromises of 13 elements in 11 groups and it also has 13 aperture blades. The lens covers an image circle of 33.6mm and I found from testing previous focal lengths that the MEIKE S35 lenses will actually cover quite a few full-frame sensors when shooting 16:9 video.
The 75mm T2.1 has a close focus distance of 70cm / 2.29′ and a front filter diameter of 77mm. The focus rotation is 270° and it tips the scales at 970g / 34.2oz (PL Mount).
The lens will be available in either PL or Canon EF mounts.

The MEIKE 75mm T2.1 S35 Cine Lens is now available to pre-order for $599.99 USD. It is expected to start shipping in mid-November.
