Fotodiox has introduced the Warrior 300 Daylight LED. As the name suggests, this is a 300W, 5600K COB fixture.
The light consists of a head unit and a separate power supply/controller. The light head weighs in at 5 lb / 2.26 kg and the power supply/ controller tips the scales at 5.6 lb / 2.54 kg.
The power supply/controller features two built-in V-lock battery plates. It also has DMX In/Out and a small LCD screen so you can see what changes you are making.
The fixture utilizes a standard Bowens-S mount so you attach affordable, readily available light modifiers. The Warrior 300 also comes with a reflector.
The beam angle is 120° without any reflector being used. With the reflector, it is 50°.
The Warrior 300 features 11 pre-installed special effect modes that you can activate using the included remote control. The control range is claimed to be up to 20 meters (~ 65 ft).
Fotodiox states that the light is dimmable from 0-100% and it is flicker-free due to the PWM integrated design. The Warrior 300 is claimed to have a CRI and TLCI rating ≥95. Built-in NTC temperature detection automatically controls the fan and prevents overheating.
