MTF Services released RF and L mount-converted versions of the new Sirui 24mm f2.8 1.33x anamorphic lens. The RF mount works with RED Komodo and Canon C70. The L-mount works with cameras such as the LUMIX S1H, S1, and S5.
The MTF Services-modified, 24mm f2.8, extends the set of converted Sirui anamorphic 1.33x lenses, joining the current 35mm f1.8 and 50mm f1.8 conversions. All three are designed to cover Super35 / APS-C sized sensors but can also be utilized with selected full-frame cameras if the image is zoomed in or cropped by approximately 1.35x some level of vignetting will occur.
Price and availability
While the extra complexity and labor mean that this conversion is more costly than the previous two, it still represents the least expensive wide-angle integrated anamorphic lens solution for RF and L mount cameras. The Sirui 24mm f2.8 1.33x is sold pre-converted by MTF in either RF mount for £950 (plus tax) or L mount for £950 (plus tax).
It is available to order today from MTF Services or its authorized dealers. For more customer information, visit the MTF website.
