The Light Widow 4×5 Anti-Reflection Wedge was specifically designed to be used in clamp-on style 4×5.65 matte boxes as a tool to mitigate reflections between filters. It also stops reflections between a filter and the front element of the camera lens.
So how does it actually work? Well, by holding one or more of the trays in a tilted position the 4×5 Anti-Reflection Wedge won’t allow excess light to enter the matte box.
Like a lot of items these days, the 4×5 Anti-Reflection Wedge is 3D printed using durable Nylon 12 material.
The Light Widow 4×5 Anti-Reflection Wedge is compatible with the following matte boxes:
- Arri LMB matte boxes
- Light Widow FRS-Light
- Bright Tangerine Misfit
- Bright Tangerine Misfit Kick
The Anti-Reflection Wedge will also work with most other 4×5.65 clamp-on matte boxes with trays that insert from the top.
