Zacuto has a range of Sony FX6 solutions if you want to shoulder mount your camera. Shoulder mounting small-sized digital cinema cameras that don’t have an EVF can be a tricky proposition and more often than not you can end up with a frankenrig.
The Zacuto solutions are designed to allow you to go from tripod straight to shoulder mount shooting very quickly.

Sony FX6 Recoil Rig
The Sony FX6 Recoil shoulder-mounted rig includes the VCT Pro baseplate, the Rosette Trigger Grip to relocate the Sony FX6 handgrip, a 13.5″ LANC extension cable, the FX6 Top Plate and the FX6 Handle Mount. This is a good rig to also add the Kameleon EVF to.
FX6 Z-Finder Recoil Rig
The Sony FX6 Z-Finder Recoil shoulder-mounted rig includes the VCT Pro baseplate, the Rosette Trigger Grip to relocate the Sony FX6 handgrip, a 13.5″ LANC extension cable, the FX6 Top Plate, and FX6 Z-Finder with Axis Micro and Fluid Rosette Joint, and the FX6 Handle Mount. This rig allows you to use the existing Sony LCD screen.
Sony FX6 Recoil Rig with Dual Trigger Grips
The Sony FX6 Recoil shoulder-mounted rig includes the VCT Pro baseplate, Dual Rosette Trigger Grips to relocate the Sony FX6 handgrip, a 13.5″ LANC extension cable, the FX6 Top Plate and the FX6 Handle Mount. Please note that a Kameleon EVF isn’t included.
Sony FX6 Z-Finder Recoil Rig with Dual Trigger Grips
The Sony FX6 Z-Finder Recoil shoulder-mounted rig includes the VCT Pro baseplate, the Rosette Trigger Grip to relocate the Sony FX6 handgrip, a 13.5″ LANC extension cable, the FX6 Top Plate, Sony FX6 Handle Mount and FX6 Z-Finder with Axis Micro and Fluid Rosette.

The Zacuto solutions are quite expensive once you start adding all of the necessary pieces, but there is no question that they are very well made and will be sure to outlive your camera.
