Vaxix has released a white version of their Atom 600 KV wireless video TX unit for the RED Komodo. This is hardly earth-shattering news, but if you happen to be a Komodo Stormtrooper owner and you feel oke you need everything else that you use with the camera to be white, then this will probably interest you.
In case you are not familiar with the ATOM 600 KV, it was designed specifically for use with the RED Komodo. It is a stand-alone TX unit that doesn’t come with a receiver, however, it is compatible with any Vaxis ATOM RX unit. You can also transmit simultaneously to up to three mobile devices over WiFi, and use the Vaxis Vision app to view images.
It attaches directly to the rear battery mount. It also has a V-lock battery plate on the back. In a nice design move, Vaxis has made it possible to either keep the V-mount plate upright or you can remove four screws and turn it vertically. Turning it vertically probably works well if you are using mini V-lock batteries.

The Atom 600 KV has a built-in smart fan. A good thing about it is that you can turn it on/off or control its fan speed with the left button, according to your need at the shooting scene.
