RØDE has kicked off their My RØDE Reel 2020 short film competition, making it bigger than ever with $1 Million in cash to be won in addition to gear from LUMIX, ARRI, Zhiyun, Pelican, Adobe, Musicbed, Brevite, Rhino, Nanlite, MZed, and of course RØDE.
How do you enter?
To go in the running to win, submit a 3-minute short film, plus a behind-the-scenes film featuring a RØDE product.
This can be any product from a smartLav, Wireless GO, NTG shotgun microphone or a studio mic.
The My RØDE Reel title card needs to be added at the start of the main film and BTS video for at least three seconds.

Prizes
There is over $1 Million in cash and prizes up for grabs, with the main Judges’ prize taking home $200,000 in cash plus gear.
Genre prizes get up to $75,000 plus gear each for 1st place, and Special prizes receiving up to $25,000 plus gear.
People’s Choice
As with previous years, there is a voting component which decides the winner of the People’s Choice prize.
After you submit an entry, you can start collecting votes for your film.
When does it end?
Entries are due October 7th, so you have just over two months to get your ideas together and get filming.
