Cine Gear rescheduled for October

The Cine Gear expo that was scheduled to take place from June 4th-7th in Los Angeles has had its dates moved to October 1st-4th.

It is no surprise that the show was postponed, but I’m a little curious as to why it took them so long to make this announcement. I presume it is because they had to talk to Paramount studios to find dates that didn’t conflict with the studio being used.

Given the Coronavirus pandemic is still changing day by day it is quite possible that we may see the dates change again.

The proposed new dates of October 1st-4th mean that Cine Gear will be taking place less than a month after IBC 2020 is scheduled to take place in Amsterdam.
