At IBC 2019, Hawk-Woods was showing a new version of the X-boxx battery boxes that are designed to provide long-lasting power to hungry devices.
There is now a new high capacity 1000Wh X-boxx that is perfect for powering high draw digital cinema cameras and lights remotely.
The battery boxes are available in either 14v, 24v or 30v. The batteries feature two outputs which are either XLR 3 or 4 pin dependant on voltage or special requirements or wiring.
Now, you can’t put the X-boxx battery boxes on a plane, but they do look like a good solution for crews wanting to power devices in the field for long periods of time.
The 1000Wh X-boxx takes around 10 hours to fully charge and you do need to purchase a Hawk-woods charger to do this.
