ARRI will be running a live-online training workshop later this month, covering large-format camera systems. The course consists of six lessons, each roughly 90 minutes in length, and will cover all aspects of working with ARRI’s large-format camera system (comprised of the new ALEXA Mini LF, ALEXA LF, ARRI Signature Prime lenses, LPL lens mount, wireless video transmission, and wireless lens control).
The session is hosted by certified ARRI trainer, Florian Rettich who will discuss the following:
- In-depth knowledge of ARRI’s large-format camera systems (ALEXA Mini LF, ALEXA LF, ALEXA 65), ARRI Signature Prime lenses, LPL lens mount and PL-to-LPL adapter and postproduction tools
- Creative ARRI look workflows and ARRI color science
- Understanding linear light, logarithmic and video encoding
- Advantages of ARRIRAW and Apple ProRes codecs
- Understanding recording formats and their applications
- Exposing for SDR and HDR
- Experience the full capabilities when it comes to HDR and wide color gamut monitoring
- Exclusive insights into ARRI camera and sensor design
- Wireless camera control via Electronic Control System and WiFi
- Learning sessions with our online simulators and tools, as well as common postproduction tools
- Corresponding content for self learning units and exercises
Participants will be able to ask questions during the live-sessions and afterwards in a closed Facebook group. Recorded live sessions will also be available if you miss a session. At the end of the course, each participant will receive a certificate of completion.
The live-sessions will be held on the following dates at 11am CEST time.
July 15, 16, 18, 22, 23, 25 (optional 29, 30).
Tickets for the ARRI large-format camera system live-online course are €575, with only a limited number available to ensure all students get an opportunity to interact and ask questions if needed.
