At NAB 2019, DOPchoice was showing a number of light shaping solutions, including a grid that has been designed for tube lights such as those from Quasar Science, AsteraAX, and Kino Flo.
There is two versions available that cater for tubes that are 3′ or 4′ in length.
They attach using velcro and can be set up and folded down and packed away very quickly.
New hexagon shaped SNAPGRIDS & BUTTERFLY grids
DoPchoice was also showing new hexagon-shaped SNAPGRIDS and BUTTERFLY grids that were designed after customer feedback.
The hexagon shaped SNAPGRIDS and BUTTERFLY grids offer a 40 degree angle but you can reverse them to obtain a slightly wider dispersion.
