Samsung Galaxy S10 announced

The Samsung Galaxy S10 is the latest smartphone to be announced. We don’t normally cover smartphones here on the site, but with their ever-increasing video capabilities, and the boom in mobile journalism, I thought it was worth covering this announcement.
Samsung Galaxy S10 announced
It has been a decade since Samsung first introduced the Galaxy, and today Samsung announced four new premium smartphones, the Galaxy S10, the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10+, and the Galaxy S10 5G.  Samsung is touting that the new Galaxy models deliver a next-generation experience in the categories consumers care about most: ground-breaking innovations in display, camera, and performance.
Now, I’m not going to dive into every specification, but rather just look at the display, cameras and video capabilities.

Samsung is working with major carriers to develop and deploy 5G networking technology. The Galaxy S10 5G is Samsung’s first flagship 5G smartphone. Samsung state that with the Galaxy S10 5G, consumers on a 5G network can download a full season of a TV show in minutes, play graphics-rich cloud games with virtually no lag, and keep in touch with real-time 4K video calls.

The Japanese government is keen to push 8K and companies such as Astro Design have already shown live 8K over IP broadcasting using 5G technology. Japanese telecommunications giant Docomo has also been demonstrating 8K content over their 5G network that is still in development.
