Wooden Camera has announced a line of accessories for the upcoming Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K.
The Unified BMPCC4K Camera Cage is a modular system which can be configured for handheld use or set up on a tripod with 15mm lightweight rod support. Just like the other Unified camera cages, they have a Manfrotto quick release base plate so you can use them with other Manfrotto fluid head or base plate.
On the side of the camera, there is a 15mm vertical rod riser and a top cheese plate with accessory mounting ports. The cage comes with a right angle HDMI connector which is securely clamped to the vertical rod. The top handle has a screw in design so the handle can also be mounted over the lens for counterbalancing. It uses a 15mm rod bracket so it can also be mounted onto the vertical riser to act as a side handle. When you are packing the camera away, the handle can collapse down.
The cage is available standalone or in three kits.
