SmallHD has introduced a new version of their Focus OLED monitor, now with an SDI input.
The SmallHD Focus OLED monitors offer a higher 1920×1080 resolution on the 5.5″ screen compared to the non-OLED Focus monitors, and feature edge-to-edge bonded glass, integrated battery slot and includes the SmallHD Tilt Arm.
Weighing in at just 9 ounces (255g), the FOCUS OLED provides a stunningly sharp image without adding bulk. The 5.5-inch, 1080p display has an expansive contrast ratio (60,000:1), 350 nit brightness, over 400 pixels-per-inch pixel density, and a wide color gamut (105% NTSC).
The FOCUS OLED SDI has an MSRP of $799 and is expected to ship in September while the HDMI version has an MSRP of $699.
All of the Focus monitors have a 7.2V DC output which can be used with a dummy battery to power different cameras. SmallHD has released new bundles which include a dummy battery to use the DC output port from the monitor to power your camera.
The bundles are available with the following battery types:
• NP-F50 (e.g. Sony A7 II)
• NP-FZ1000 (e.g.Sony A7 III)
• LP-E6 (e.g. Canon 5D IV)
• DMW-BLF19 (e.g. Panasonic GH5)
