SLR Magic has announced an update to the E-mount 50mm F/1.1 lens.
The new design features enhanced optics, an additional lens element and an improvement to the overall edge to edge picture quality.
The lens covers full frame and is constructed from 7 elements in 6 groups containing 13 aperture blades. Like the other SLR Magic Cine lenses, it is a fully manual with no electronics.
Pricing is yet to be confirmed but the previous version retailed at USD $399.
