The new ARRI Signature Prime range of lenses was recently announced alongside the Arri Alexa LF. Alexa Mini product manager Michael Jonas gave us a run through of the new lenses.
The Signature Prime lenses use the new LPL mount designed for large format digital sensors.
Using a magnesium construction, the lenses are around 2lb lighter than the Master Primes.
The LPL mount which transfers LDS protocol and is LDS-2 compatible. A flare set will be available for the Signature Prime lenses.
