Recently Zeiss introduced two new lenses with a 25mm focal distance, the Loxia 25mm F/2.4 in E-mount & the Milvus 25mm F/1.4 available in Canon EF or Nikon F mount. As with the other Milvus & Loxia lenses, they are very solid lenses, with high performing optics & a rugged build.
Loxia 25mm F2.4
The Loxia range of lenses is a great choice for native E-mount cameras. The iris can be manually de-clicked and a smooth dampened manual focus make them suitable for cinematography work but wouldn’t have an issue when being used for stills. All of the Loxia lenses are 62mm in diameter with a 52mm front filter size thread making it easy to swap out accessories.
Milvus 25mm F1.4
The new Milvus lens completes the super speed set in the Milvus range joining the 35mm, 50mm & 85mm all at F1.4. A new kit will be available soon comprising of all four F1.4 lenses.
