F&V were showing a new addition to their 1×1 LED panel range – the K4000 Power. As the name suggests, the light is essentially a more powerful version of the company’s existing K4000 panel light.
The light is not only quite powerful, but it also has a nice wide 70° beam angle which allows it to be used for a host of lighting applications. You can add accessories such as a soft diffusion panel, soft boxes or panels with built in honeycomb grids. The soft diffusion panel not only gives you a nice flattering light source, but also widens the beam angle out to 90°.
The K4000 Power draws just 90W so it can be run off just about any V-lock battery via its integrated battery plate. F&V claim the light has an output of about 5000lx at a distance of one metre. The light will be available in a daylight-only and bi-colour versions.
The light is scheduled to start shipping in two-three months time for a retail price of €549 for the daylight only version, and €599 for the bi-colour version. This is substantially less than most other competing 1×1 LED panels on the market.
