RØDE have announced a new addition to their RØDELink Wireless family- the Performer Kit. The Performer Kit features a high-quality condenser microphone (TX-M2) and a desktop receiver (RX-DESK). It joins the Filmmaker and Newsshooter wireless Kits in RØDE’s wireless range.
Just like all the products in the RØDELink range, the Performer Kit has been designed to work straight out the box, with no channel selection necessary. Using a secure Series II 2.4GHz encrypted digital transmission sent on two channels simultaneously, RØDELink automatically selects the strongest signal. For users with multiple RØDELink devices the system offers 8 discreet channels that can be set up in seconds. In optimum conditions, RØDELink works up to 100m. Up to eight mics – including other RØDELink capable transmitters – and receivers can be used in the same space without a problem.
The Performer Kit desktop receiver features a digital display that shows battery life, signal status and peak warning. The receiver also has has a 5-step level adjustment (-20, -10, 0 10, 30dB)
The RØDELink Performer Kit is perfect for lectures, Q&As, school presentations, Houses of Worship, weddings, venues and live performances. Providing one-touch pairing with the RØDELink receiver, the unit can be powered by the new and included RØDE LB-1 Lithium-Ion Battery or 2 x AA Batteries.
