The Manfrotto Nitrotech N8 Head uses a continuous counterbalance system based on a nitrogen-piston mechanism. This is quite different fromU most tripod heads that use stepped levels of counterbalance. The whole idea behind using the nitrogen-piston mechanism is that you can precisely adjust it to match the weight of your camera rig.
The 75mm flat-base head has a maximum payload capacity of 17.6 pounds, and has been designed to be used with a variety of smaller video or DSLR/MFT cameras.
The Nitrotech N8 Head is available to purchase for $449.99US.
