Ikan has introduced two new additions to their Mylo LED range: the on-camera Mylo mini (MB4) and the larger Mylo soft (MSB8).
Ikan Mylo Mini
The Mylo Mini has a claimed 95+ CRI and is bi-colour adjustable from 3200K to 5600K. The brightness of the light is said to be consistent regardless of the colour temperature. The mini’s beam angle is about 50° and it can be battery powered with Sony-style “L” series batteries. The Mylo mini is available as a single LED light or in kits that include compact stands and carry bags.
Ikan Mylo soft lights
The Mylo Soft lights have a built in ½ stop soft diffusion panel to create a softer light source. They are also bi-color adjustable from 3200K to 5600K. With the Mylo Soft lights, you have the option of using either a Sony “L” battery or a DV battery.
Both the Mylo Mini and Mylo Soft lights have a large yellow knob on the back for making adjustments, and an LED readout to show you the colour temperature and brightness output. The lights also come with barndoors.
