Thinktank have released v2.0 of their popular Airport Helipak backpack for the DJI Phantom. The new version accommodates a DJI Phantom 4/Phantom 4 Pro or similarly sized drones from other manufacturers. The backpack’s has been designed to be carry-on compatible for both U.S. domestic or international airline travel. Its custom divider set allows for extra accessories and gear, including a small camera like a Sony a7 or Panasonic GH5, and features a dedicated 15” laptop compartment.
For me a backpack like the Airport Helipak makes a lot more sense than using something like a Pelican case to carry around your drone. Being able to carry it comfortably on your back while walking long distances makes it invaluable for those shooters who tend to go off the beaten track.
