At NAB 2016, I spoke to Ryan Schorman from Wooden Camera about their new Unified VCT System. Designed to work with any camera configuration the plate allows a camera to be moved backwards or forwards to get correct shoulder balance.
It also features ARRI style rosettes and 1/4 20″ mounting holes. It also has the unique ability to tighten down onto any type of VCT-14 tripod plate. Wooden Camera have also made their own VCT-14 tripod plate.
The Unified VCT System is available for $495 US and the Wooden Camera VCT-14 baseplate is $295 US.
You can find out more from the Wooden Camera website.
