Chuck Fadely talks to Francois Gautier from Sony about their new 2/3in 4K ENG camera, the PXW-Z450. The Z450 works as both an ENG or EFP (Electric Field Production) camera. It’s a native B4 mount camera with a 2/3in sensor and records in 4K (3840×2160) while supporting multi format capture. The Z400 from last year can also be upgraded to a 4K camera for existing users. The Z450 will be available this winter, the price is still to be announced but is expected to be around $20,000 to $25,000 US.
