Guest reporter Rodney Charters talks to Wes from SmallHD about their new range of daylight viewable displays made for in-the-field viewing. The monitors can be set to HDR mode, which allows you to view the images with a real time preview of what the HDR will look like in post, to help make sure you get the lighting right on set.
Ironically enough these new monitors are anything but small. There are both 17in and 24in versions with 1,000nits of brightness priced at $4,000 US and $5,500 US respectively. There’s also a 32in model, that is 1,500nits for $7,999 US.
