Rode microphones have launched their Video Micro on-camera microphone with a video that’s one part instruction manual to one part affectionate pastiche of Japanese TV.
We’ve had a look at the Video Micro before – it’s a very reasonably priced on-camera mic that’s a great first step for anyone wanting to capture better audio than is possible using the built-in microphones on their video camera. It has an all metal body and features a Rycote Lyre shockmount to isolate it from handling noise.
The Video Micro is available now for around ¥8000 or $59 US.
