Newsshooter at IBC 2015: iFootage – Mini Crane from Dan Chung on Vimeo.
There are a lot of travel jibs on the market nowadays and it takes something special to make a new product stand out. Luckily the new carbon fibre travel jib from iFootage has just that. Instead of the regular round tube the iFootage has a rectangular section for added strength. This means the jib can take payloads up to 7Kg.
The other innovative feature is a tilt function that allows users to easily adjust the angle of the camera.
Like most regular travel jibs it can disassemble for easy transportation. It can use regular weights or a handy donut shaped counterweight water bottle made by iFootage.
The mini jib should be available soon. Currently only iFootage’s older jibs are on their website, but keep an eye out for more details.
