Canon have released their short Trick Shot on YouTube in 4K – the piece was filmed entirely on the company’s long-awaited C300 Mark II camera.
The film, shot by Director of Photography Gale Tattersall, was playing at NAB this year, but if you weren’t there, or simply want to savour the sound design in your headphones rather than on a busy trade show floor, now you can. Although of course you’ll need a 4K monitor attached to your computer to peep every pixel (other resolutions are available).
The C300 Mark II remains slated for release in Q3 of 2015.
