At the BIRTV show in Beijing I got the chance to interview ARRI’s Forest Liu about their just launched 4K output upgrade for their AMIRA documentary style camera. The output of the AMIRA’s chip is upscaled in the camera to allow shooters work with or hand off a 4K file without the need for any post production.
