Our friends at Rode microphones have just launched the invisiLav – a gadget designed to conceal the company’s lavalier and smartLav microphones under clothing. It is a soft sleeve that holds the mic capsule and absorbs noise and vibration. Two mics can be mounted in the same invisiLav which is useful in some instances where you need a redundant backup – but it will work just fine with only one. The invisiLav can be mounted with pre-cut double sided adhesive pads to the either clothing or skin. I love that the video mentions that you can also mount it with toupee tape.
