OK, so I know he’s a Hollywood guy, but there is still a lot for any documentary shooter to learn about lighting from DP Rodney Charters. Best known for his work on ’24’, Dallas and Showtime’s Shameless he was also a documentary cameraman for twenty-odd years and still shoots some documentary work now. His insights are always fascinating.
