Teleconvertors aren’t usually the most sexy accessory in a shooter’s kit bag – but they can be invaluable. Like many others I am still using stills lenses and teleconvertors for my longer glass. If you are lucky enough (or rich enough) to use cinema PL lenses regularly then these new convertors from Arri might be of interest to you. The quality of the image you can get when combining these convertors with Arri’s Fujinon 45-250mm was quite stunning. Practical real world applications include high end nature and sports documentary work – where the Arri Alexa is becoming increasingly popular. Check out the video to learn more.
