Tokina were at the SMPTE show in Sydney this week showing a working prototype (said to be the same as the final production version) of their upcoming 16-28mm Cine lens. Like its sister, the 11-16mm Cine lens, this is an in-house redesign of the stills 16-28mm lens but with full manual control of focus and aperture for cine use. It will be sold in PL, Nikon and Canon EF mounts. Check out the video to see more and learn when the lens will ship.
