New Atomos video demonstrates Smart Monitor functions of AtomOS 3.0 for Ninja and Samurai recorders

Atomos recently launched an upgraded OS for their popular Ninja HDMI and Samurai HDSDI external Prores recorders. AtomOS 3.0 is free to users and adds the new Smart Monitor functions of focus peaking, false colour and zebras. Today Atomos has posted a video with CEO Jeromy Young to demonstrate how these functions work.

The new OS also features SmartLog which allows you to log in and out points on recorded footage and mark takes as ‘good’ or ‘bad’. AtomOS 3.0 will also feature on the new Ninja 2 recorder which is due soon.
